Prince movie review

I should probably make a disclaimer that I haven't seen Jathi Ratnalu, and so I find director Anudeep's comedy in Tamil quite unique and silly.

Ambu (Shivakarthikeyan) is deprived of the village for a 'mistake'. His father Ulaganathan (Satyaraj) also agrees with the villagers and prepares to disown his son.

Now comes the flashback. As a school teacher, the erratic Anbu attends school regularly thanks to a British woman named Jessica (Maria Ryboshapka).

Anudeep's strength lies in slapstick humor. Through the films he has directed, he has established his style of humor that runs on silliness.

Directors and actors make fun of themselves and their previous work. That said, the main gripe with Prince is the stretches where the comedy fails to elicit laughs.
