In a press meeting on May 25, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy mentioned that the welfare schemes undertaken by the government have benefited more than 3.5 crore people in the state. He also said that the government has distributed money. 40139 crore among beneficiaries till May 2020 through welfare schemes. Out of this amount Rs. 19,298 crore was disbursed to Backward Class (BC) beneficiaries, Rs. 6,332 crore Scheduled Castes (SC), Rs. 2,108 crore to Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries, and Rs. 10,472 crore in other categories. Not only this, he added, within four months of coming to power, our government has created four lakh job opportunities in village and ward secretariats which is a matter of pride that SC secures more than 82 percent of jobs, ST, BC, and BCs. the minority.
Beneficiaries of 10 social welfare initiatives of the government will be identified through the AP YSR Navskam scheme. Below is a list of schemes that will implement the AP YSR Navaskam Plan. Friends, let’s know the details about the schemes given below.
1. YSR Amma Vodi
This is one of the flagship programs announced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister under a Navaratnalu. Under the Amma Vodi scheme, financial assistance will be provided to mothers/authorized guardians who are below the poverty line irrespective of caste, caste, religion, and region. The objective behind this scheme is to enable the mother to educate her child/children from class I to XII.

2. YSR Rice Card
The government has decided to issue fresh rice cards to the beneficiaries. 10,000 per month for families eligible for this scheme, 10,000 in rural areas and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas, and a total of fewer than 3 acres of wetlands or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of wet and dry land combined, the monthly electricity consumption of fewer than 300 units, no government employees or pensioners in the household (all sanitary workers are exempted.), and a non-wheeler. Owners (taxi, auto, tractor exempted) do not pay income tax in urban areas if they have no property or building less than 750 sq. ft. It has been decided to give rice cards to those families.
3. YSR Arogyasri Card–navasakam.ap.gov.in
YSR Arogyasri card holders are entitled to free health insurance claims and treatment at existing hospitals. In case of any medical emergency, cardholders will be provided with effective healthcare treatment. AP Government has allocated a budget of Rs 11,419 crore under this scheme for health services.
Eligible families for Arogyasri card
- With an annual income of less than or up to 5 lakhs eligible.
- Land of less than 12 wet acres or 35 dry acres or a total of 35 acres (wet and dry).
- Not owning more than one personal car.
- Families who do not own property or have a building area of less than 3000 square feet in the metropolitan area.
- Government employees are covered by the employee health scheme. So it is not covered by YSR Aarogyasri Card.
4. Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Card & Jagananna Vidya Deevena Card
Under this scheme, the government will issue Vidya Deevena Card for complete free services and Vasathi Deevena Card for food and hostel expenses. 20,000/- per annum to students pursuing higher level courses in polytechnics, ITIs, degree, and government, aided, private colleges.

5. YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme
Andhra Pradesh will give money known as YSR Kapu Nestham Scheme. 15,000 per annum for 5 years under this scheme. The main objective of this project was to improve the quality of life of the women of Kapu, Balija, Ontari, and other sub-communities. This project will also expand the livelihood prospects of these women
The scheme aims to financially empower Kapu women above 45 years of age by increasing their livelihood opportunities and standard of living with financial assistance of Rs.75,000/- at the rate of Rs.15,000/-.
- Women from the Kapu community aged 45 to 60 are eligible.
- The total family income must be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas.
6. YSR Netanna Nestham
The government will provide a loom to a weaver family with the financial assistance of Rs. 24000 per year under this scheme. The government aims to modernize its machinery and compete with the power loom industry.
7. YSR Pension Kanuka Card
The Andhra Pradesh government provides these pensions to augment the social security pension under the YSR Kanuka Pension Scheme. The scheme aims to help the economically disadvantaged families of the state. And it includes various groups of society, such as the elderly, unmarried women, physically challenged, weavers, machinists, ART and CKDU patients, fishermen, dapper artists, transgender people, traditional cobblers, etc. Recently, the government has also increased the pension. Payment will be made to a selected list of eligible beneficiaries.

To extend Social Security pensions, the government revised the eligibility criteria:
The total family income must be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas.
- The total family ownership area must be less than 3 acres of wetland, 10 acres of dry land, or 10 acres of wet and dry land together.
- The monthly electricity consumption should be less than 300 units.
- No family member should be a government employee or pensioner.
- The family must not own 4 wheels (taxis, cars, and tractors are exempt).
- No family member must pay income tax.
- In urban areas, a family does not own property or has less than 750 square feet of building area.
8. YSR Cheyutha Scheme
Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, launched the scheme. Women belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities will get financial assistance of Rs 75000 (Rs 18750 per year) for four years under this scheme. Women aged 45 to 65 years will be eligible for this financial assistance.
The government will encourage women entrepreneurs through YSR Cheyutha Scheme. Beneficiaries of this system will be able to spend money as they wish. To implement this scheme, the government has allocated Rs 17000 crore in its budget.

9. YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme
Under YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, zero percent interest loan credit will be granted to elderly women with work in self-help groups. The government of Andhra Pradesh is focusing on the economic empowerment of women through this welfare scheme. This project will make the beneficiaries self-reliant and self-reliant.
As per the assurance given by the Honorable Chairman, to reduce the interest burden on poor women of SHGs, it is proposed to pay the interest portion for FY 2019-20 on the SHG Bank loan amount due as of 11/04/2019 under YSR Sunna Vaddi.
- All women in rural and urban areas with outstanding bank loan accounts are entitled to up to INR Rs.5.00 lakhs.
- SHG Loan Accounts declared NPA as of 03/31/2019 as per the SERP and MEPMA database are not eligible.
10. Honorarium to Imams, Muazams, and Pastors and increase in salaries to Archakas
Under the scheme, the government has promised to pay the salaries of priests, imams, and muezzins and increase the salaries of priests.
11. Financial Assistance to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and Tailors
Under this scheme, the government will help the BC community Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and Tailors by providing financial assistance of Rs. 10000/- per annum.

- Applicants have to open the Official Website of navsakam.

- From the home page of the site, you need to go to the “Know Your Secretariat” option available in the menu bar.
- On the new screen, a list appears from where you can check your district name and choose Urban or Rural.
- Now select the link given in the column (urban or rural) in front of your district name.
- Thereafter you need to choose your Mandal name from the list.
- Select the link, given opposite to your Mandal name, and note down your secretariat code that appears on the screen.

YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy, the 2020 chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has asked staff to issue ID cards for various social initiatives within the time frameset. If the cards are not delivered to the beneficiaries within the specified time frame, strict action will be taken. The list of recipients should also be shown at the village or ward secretariats, according to the CM. Pension, rice, and Arogyashri cards should be given to the beneficiary’s doorstep.
